For a wonderful trail ride and opportunity for overnight stay you have Marriott Ranch in Hume, VA and if you want to bring your horse and learn about Civil War History, consider The Inn at Kelly’s Ford. Opening night for Twilight Polo at Great Meadows Park is May 18th and all you have to do is get there! There are food trucks including homemade ice cream, along with local wine and beer vendors. No need to pack a picnic, just throw your chairs in the car and enjoy a beautiful evening outdoors. You can even sign up to learn how to play. If you’re a Bull Riding Rodeo Fan, don’t miss Saturday events at Oakland Heights Farm in Gordonsville, VA. For a bit of history take a short drive over to Meadow Event Park and tour where Secretariat was born.

Finding the Perfect Home for You and Your Horse
Blue Ridge horse properties are not hard to find. However, you’ll want to work with someone who understands the unique challenges of finding the right property suitable for you and your family (human and equine). Whether you’re looking to join the hunt, find some land to take a leisurely trail ride on or do some intensive training I will be able to assist you. I’m happy to introducte you to those already established in the equestrian community throughout the Blue Ridge.
